Anthony “AJ” Baker
Born and raised in Brooklyn New York (Marine Park), I came from a tightly knit (mostly) Italian family. I studied business administration at Drexel University, where I gained an undergraduate degree in marketing, and a Master’s Degree in the field of management in 2003. In 2006, I became a commodities broker and was involved in metals trade for 12 years. After that profession ran its course and was taken over by machines and algorithms, I decided to leave New York in 2020 and start a new life in South Carolina. I have since been involved in Horry County politics, joined the grass roots Republican party and have been active in the fight against the state’s establishment core, which is powerful here. (SC is not as red as you may think – it only turns out 40% conservative legislation. I can go on about this, but you can read plenty about it in my free SC section of the blog.) I fight corruption wherever I see it, and I have no intention of slowing down.
