The Cost of an Open Border
But even now, while there is still a chance that we can do something about it (like passing the Save America Act and enforcing election integrity), there is a cost to the open border which existed between 2021 and 2024. And that cost is carrying over to now, since it is far easier to let these aliens in than to find them and get them out. The Trump administration has been phenomenal at closing the border and doing what they can to restore sanity to this situation, preventing a takeover from within, but there is only so much they can do. With millions more in the country demanding free phones and places to live (unlike the Irish, Italian, and other European immigrants who came here legally and worked hard contributing to society), there is a massive drain on our resources. There is a higher demand for our products. Higher demand drives higher prices. When you have a system where unlimited people are allowed in, but only limited people pay taxes, that system will collapse. We are $39.5 trillion in debt and counting. The middle class is hurt by these aliens every single day.
The Communist Con Job
Today’s youth are clearly not being taught properly about the dangers and the failures of socialism. The public school system and colleges with 91% liberal professors are training them all to be victims of capitalism. Victimhood culture is something the left thrives on. There always needs to be an oppressor and the oppressed. Without victimhood, people will not vote for bigger government. Without bigger government, the left has no power.
Overall, capitalism has a net favorability of +20, while socialism and communism are -29 and -73, respectively. The only thing there is socialism and communism should not be that far apart. They are essentially the same thing. One leads to the other. And the end game would mean gulags, breadlines, violence, property seizure, terrible living conditions, more poor, more death, more destitution, and no rights at all while those in power enrich themselves. This has been proven anywhere it has been tried. Remember, socialism is for the people, not the socialist, and there are so many examples of this. (See “Socialism is for You. Not Them.” from 6/6/26.)
Today’s youth, however, tell a different tale. Gen Z only sees capitalism favorably to the tune of 35%, but 49% of them favor socialism. In the same group, only 14% view communism favorably. That disparity shows how little they know, because again, socialism and communism are essentially the same thing. Those numbers would be dramatically different if they ever had to live in the conditions of socialist countries.

Fake Republicans Win Again
The establishment stranglehold in the state of South Carolina continues. Democrats disguised as Republicans continue to pull the wool over the eyes of millions. I’ve lived here for five years now, and been through three primaries (2022, 2024, and 2026). All three have been major disappointments. I’ve been involved with grass roots candidates in all of them, and I watched, as ignorance ruled the day each time. This state, full of conservatives, continues to go to the ballot box and put the closest thing to a Democrat with an R after their name in power. From state representatives (mine has a 24% conservative voting record) to House Representatives (Russell Fry was the least conservative candidate on the ballot when he first won in 2022), and now Senate and Gubernatorial candidates. Lindsey Graham, the warmongering, USAID loving, 43% conservative voter will have another six years (assuming he wins the general election) to tack on to his current 24. And for governor, with six candidates on the ballot, the worst two advanced to a runoff. Pamela Evette, the DEI queen, and Alan Wilson, the failed AG.
Why does this keep happening? There are some obvious reasons, and some not so obvious ones. The most obvious one, something this blog has harped upon, is the fact that President Trump, as much as we love him, makes the absolute worst endorsements. This generally happens nationwide, but especially in this state. He gets it wrong here every single time and gets behind the most corrupt swamp rats while claiming he will drain the swamp. Here in South Carolina, he is making the swamp much deeper.
The SC Primary - Let’s Send the Establishment Packing
The South Carolina primary is TOMORROW. Please get out and vote.
I’d like to express, one more time, that we South Carolinians live in a state where the people are conservative as they come, but the politicians who run it are not. There is a good ‘ol boy rino establishment grasp on power here, and that apple cart is threatened by the people moving down here. They will lie to you, telling you people coming from the northeast and other blue states are making this state bluer, and I have proven this to be a lie before. How is it possible that states like New York, as they elect outwardly communist mayors, are getting bluer, and the states they are moving to are trending in the same direction? It’s not. It’s impossible. One of them has to be going the other way, and it’s not New York or the rest of the northeast with the likes of Zohran Mamdani and Michell Wu running the show.
News flash - the establishment lies. People like me moving down here are making this state redder, not the other way around. This blog has been a bastion of principled stands against open primaries, voting machines, and non-partisan elections. These are all things the establishment hides behind, things that continue to allow them to thrive. They are threatened by most of us that are moving down here, as we are doing so for the right reasons.
