Our Choices For Senator: Bad and Worse
Darline Graham has not earned my vote.
Everything that was true about her during the primary is still true. She is not qualified to be a Senator and only received the position due to nepotism. She is not particularly intelligent, and will likely carry on the same warmongering, USAID loving, politically convenient policies that her brother did. And at some point, she will probably stab President Trump in the back, like her brother did.
So what are the options? Well, voting Democrat is not one. This blogger has never voted for a Democrat in his life and never will. In the case of this year’s senate race, the Democrat, Annie Andrews, is for child castration (though she is trying to deny it and moderate her image in a red state). It has earned her the nickname “Tranny Annie.”
On the other end, the establishment in this state has been a huge disappointment in the roughly 6 years I have lived here (and before that). Just about every time, the Republican party puts up the closest candidate to a Democrat with an R after their name. They generally have conservative voting records around 50% or lower, where over 80% is what ought to be expected. Lindsey Graham was no exception. It’s what Rush Limbaugh used to refer to as “Democrat-lite.”
The establishment lies, cheats, and spends a ton of corrupt money to get their candidates to win primaries. Then they expect you to fall in line and vote for their corrupt candidates in the general, or they will refer to you as a Democrat. That’s the problem I have with voting for Darline. I’d be doing exactly what the establishment wants. The same establishment whose corruption I’ve been exposing and will continue to. Darline losing would be a death blow to Drew McKissick, which would be great for conservatives. Maybe we’d finally be able to get rid of open primaries, which despite McKissick’s claims, he has no intention of enacting, since it would hurt rinos.
The other side of that argument is if Democrats gain control of the Senate, then they get to chair all of the Senate committees. Committee control is of the utmost importance. If Democrats gain control of those with 51 or more Senators, they will be able to dictate hearings, and they would all be targeted at President Trump unreasonably.
One final factor is the fact that there is a movement going around to write in the name Ralph Norman (who should be the candidate). It ought to be noted that Norman himself is not encouraging this. But the sentiment is to stick it to the establishment and put an end to the Graham dynasty once and for all.
So that’s the dilemma for conservatives this election cycle. Notice I haven’t said what I’m going to do yet – and that’s because I have not decided. The biggest amount of hate and vitriol I’ve experienced has come from the establishment Republicans down here, not the Democrats, but that’s probably because I don’t know them. But I don’t know if I can justify Democrat control. These are the options we are faced with: bad and worse. I just haven’t yet decided which is which.
