BOTR Supports Lynch for SC Senate
Last night, I attended and event for senate candidate Mark Lynch. It was the third such event of his I have attended in about a month’s span. Mark is running to unseat our current senator, Lindsey Graham, and I hope he does.
Lindsey Graham has been a stain on the Senate, and the state of South Carolina, for years. He has been in the Senate since 2003, and in Congress another 8 years before that. That’s what you call a career politician. Just like Joe Biden and Mitch McConnell, who have both been in government north of 40 years. They use the office to enrich themselves.
Aside from all that, Lindsey Graham is no conservative. He is not reliable. He is a warmonger. He’s been a consistent vote for Ukraine funding. His voting record mirrors that of a democrat. He is not pro-life, despite what he says, as he is for abortion up to 15 weeks, and has voted to fund abortion in past Senate bills. He has kowtowed to democrats on climate change and immigration. Rush Limbaugh, who I miss dearly, gave him the nickname Lindsey Grahamnesty. Graham loves USAID, and he has used that vehicle to enrich himself and support never ending war. He has stabbed President Trump in the back on more than one occasion, and will do it again. Most recently, he voted against DOGE cuts. He has verbally attacked Trump several times, and not just during the 2016 primary. He once called him a “race-baiting xenophobic bigot.” He also said "You know how you make America great again? Tell Donald Trump to go to hell.” He has said how much he loves Joe Biden, how there’s nothing wrong with him, and that if you think there is, the problem is you.
What sets Mark Lynch apart? First and foremost, he is a man of God. His faith is what drives him. The same way this country was started – he will hold office guided by those same principles. He is also a strict adherent to the Constitution, and will base decisions on our founding document, as so many politicians today seek to circumvent it. He is America first. He is pro second amendment. He is against globalism and one world order. He is for securing the border. He is for ending fraud, waste, and abuse. He wants the wall built. In all honesty, his platform matches that of the Trump administration for more than ‘ol Lindsey’s. In fact, after 30 years in government, if someone were to ask me what Lindsey Graham stands for, I’m not sure I’d know the answer. He’s flip flopped throughout his career when it suited him. With Mark Lynch, you will always know where he stands.
As was mentioned earlier, Mark is a man of God. This is worth repeating. He is a deacon at his church, a family man, and knows how to run a very successful business, another similarity he shares with President Trump. Lindsey Graham does not have any of these qualities. He is not a leader, never ran a business, and does not have a family. Mr. Lynch is using three words for his campaign, and his leadership style should God lead him to the Senate. Integrity, honor and courage. Reflecting on those words made me realize how important it is to bring these qualities to our upper congressional house, since, with a few exceptions (Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and a handful of others) they are lacking. I have faith that Mark will be a man of principal when he arrives at Capitol Hill, as I believe he is now. That’s why I’m proud to support Mark Lynch for Senate in the state of South Carolina. It’s time to end the reign of career politicians and to make conservative change in Washington, and Mark is the man for the job.
