Ride 4 is Government Waste (10/21/2024)
Today is the first day for early voting in South Carolina. Make sure you get out there and have your voice heard!
Seems like an appropriate time to address a local question on your ballot if you live in Horry County. At the end, there are two questions. One of them is a local question commonly known as "Ride 4." It's very likely that you may have seen signs for this on the side of the road, as they started appearing a few weeks ago. It is also being advertised on billboards.
The very rino-controlled Horry County wants you to vote yes to approve a 2 cent tax on every gallon of gas to fix roads. But what they are not telling you is that they already have money budgeted for this, and there has been very little fixing. They want to continue to stick their hands in your pocket. And now they've spent your tax dollars to make signs and advertise on billboards so that they can take even more of your money!
Have you noticed your property tax bill steadily increasing over the last several years? I have. This Ride 4 bill is a slippery slope, and rino republicans are often just as bad as the democrats as far as taxing and spending goes. This will simply give them more money to waste.
Vote NO on Ride 4.
